This 6-week course is open to students of all levels. It will teach students how to create hand-built pottery using various techniques such as slab construction, coil pots, pinch pots, and more.

Classes are kept small (8 students max) to allow each individual to receive individual attention. Each class is 2 hours long. THERE ARE NO MAKE UPS! This is a short intensive so it is imperative that you are at all classes as there are NO MAKE UPS!

• Our Hand-building classes run for 6 weeks. 
•  Your fee includes all materials
• ​clay, one personal shelf, glazes, underglazes, and bisque and glaze firings are included.
•  Classes are  in the evenings from 6:00-8:00.
• Class Dates are [April 30, May 7, May 14, May 21, May, 28, June 4]
• The location is at Sio Ceramics, 716 Monroe St NE, Studio 11 ,Washington, DC.
• Parking is available in the neighborhood or the parking garage on 8th and Monroe. Metro stop is  Brookland-CUA (Red Line).
