During this workshop, we go through the process of reassembling this image by printing these layers in succession to reproduce the original photograph. To screen print a color photograph, we must separate it into its cyan, magenta, yellow, and black color channels and expose each onto a separate screen.
Participants will learn about how each screen is made, and to register the image to the paper, and how to print the image through a nylon screen.

While we will all be printing the same photograph, participants can print multiples, allowing themselves to create both exact reproductions and experiment with creating unique versions.

*Important Information*: The workshop will be held on Saturday, September 16th from 4-6 pm. Class is held at Sio Ceramics: 716 Monroe St NE, Studio 11 Washington, DC 20017.
