This 6-week course is open to students of all levels. It will teach students how to create hand-built pottery using various techniques such as slab construction, coil pots, pinch pots, and more.

Classes are kept small (6 students max) to allow each individual to receive individual attention. Each class is 2 hours long. THERE ARE NO MAKE UPS! This is a short intensive so it is imperative that you are at all classes as there are NO MAKE UPS!

• Our Hand-building classes run for 6 weeks. 
• Saturday 10am-12pm Class Dates are [January 11th, January 18th(closed MLK), January 25th, February 1st, February 8th, February 15th, and February 22nd]
• Saturday 1-3pm Class Dates are  [January 11th, January 18th ,(closed MLK), January 25th, February 1st, February 8th, February 15th, and February 22nd]
• The location is at Sio Ceramics, 716 Monroe St NE, Studio 11 ,Washington, DC.
•  Your fee includes all materials
• ​clay, one personal shelf, glazes, underglazes, and bisque and glaze firings are included.
• Parking is available in the neighborhood or the parking garage on 8th and Monroe. Metro stop is  Brookland-CUA (Red Line).

Cancellation Policies

• Before Start Date: Students who withdraw at least one week before the start date of the course will receive a full refund.
• Within the First Week: Students who withdraw within the first week of the course will receive a 50% refund.
• After the First Week: No refunds will be issued after the first week of the course.
