6-Week Hand-Building Pottery II: Coil Building & Structural Forms
Designed for students with some hand-building experience, this class explores coil-building techniques to create larger, more sculptural or functional forms. Participants will complete two projects: a coiled vessel and a mixed-technique piece incorporating slabs and coils. Instruction will focus on structure, form, and decorative surface techniques. Prerequisite: Hand-Building I or prior clay experience.
Classes are kept small to allow each student to receive individual attention. Each class is 2 hours long. This is a short intensive so it is imperative that attend all classes. There is one opportunity for a make-up per 6 week session.
